Is the Trebesingerhof a family hotel? +

Yes — the Trebesingerhof is a family hotel in Trebesing, Carinthia. It features a water park with a 100-metre slide, TUI Kids Club, GENUSS All Inclusive and family rooms in four categories.

What age group is the hotel suitable for? +

Particularly suitable for families with children aged approximately 3 to 12. Teenagers can enjoy a supplementary programme in the summer. Babies and toddlers under 3 are welcome with their parents — cots, nappy-changing facilities and a paddling pool are available.

Is there childcare available? +

Yes — TUI Kids Club offers an age-appropriate programme every day and is open continuously from 09:00 to 20:00. Included in GENUSS All Inclusive — no additional costs. See our digital guest brochure for the latest programme.

Is there a water slide? +

Yes — the 100-metre water slide is one of our main attractions. There’s also a baby pool, a children’s pool, an indoor pool and an outdoor pool.

What is included in the all-inclusive package? +

GENUSS All Inclusive includes: breakfast buffet, midday snack with coffee and cake, 6-course evening meal with child-friendly dishes. Plus all non-alcoholic drinks from the buffet (water, juices, soft drinks, coffee, tea). Cocktails, wine and beer are charged separately according to the menu.

What sort of day trips are there in the region? +

The Kärnten Card, included during the summer, provides free access to over 100 attractions: Millstätter See, Katschberg ski resort, the Großglockner High Alpine Road, Lieser and Maltatal – featuring waterfalls, mountain railways, castles and family-friendly wildlife parks. All within 5 to 60 minutes’ reach.

Where is the Trebesingerhof? +

In Trebesing — right in the heart of the Nockberge Mountains, Carinthia. 15 minutes to Millstätter See, 30 minutes to Spittal an der Drau. From the hotel, you can head straight into the forest, up to the alpine pastures or down to the lake. With the included Kärnten Card, you can visit over 100 attractions for free.

From what age is the Trebesingerhof suitable? +

From babies to teenagers. We have cots, high chairs, nappy-changing facilities and a paddling pool. TUI Kids Club looks after children aged 3 and over — younger children stay with Mum or Dad. Teenagers will love the water slide, games room and karaoke sessions.

When is the best time to visit? +

Whitsun (May/June) for a relaxed start to the summer — everything’s open, fewer crowds. July and August are the peak season with a packed programme. September is an insider’s tip: warm enough for the pool, quieter walking trails, milder weather and cheaper prices.

Is it possible to bring a dog? +

Yes, we welcome dogs. €15 per night (small), €20 (medium), €30 (large). Please bring your own bowls and blankets. Dogs are allowed in the room, but not in the restaurant.

Is there childcare available? +

Yes. The Kids Club is open continuously from 09:00 to 20:00 — children can pop in to play at any time. The children’s programme and supervision times vary daily, with activities such as crafts, exercise, outdoor activities, face painting and a children’s disco. See our latest programme in our digital guest folder. For children aged 3 and over — younger children are welcome to come with Mum or Dad.

How much does childcare cost? +

No extra charge — childcare is included in the all-inclusive package. Admission to the water park, visits to the farm and alpine hut, Pirate Land and all family activities are also included.

What’s there for the children to play with? +

Water park with a 100-metre slide, baby pool and children’s pool. Pirate Land with a ball pit and climbing frame. Farmhouse with animals to stroke. Childcare in TUI Kids Club. Playground in the garden. In case of rain: cinema room, craft activities in Kids Club.

Are babies welcome? +

You’re very welcome. Cots, nappy-changing facilities and bottle warmers in the rooms. A baby pool with warm water. Baby food and puréed meals available on request in the restaurant. Just let us know when you arrive — we’ll sort everything out.

Food & Indulgence

What is covered in GENUSS All Inclusive? +

Breakfast buffet (07:30–09:30), afternoon snack with coffee and cake (12:00–13:30), 6-course evening meal with a choice of dishes (18:00–20:00). Drinks from the buffet are included with all meals: water, fruit juices, soft drinks, coffee, tea and three types of ice cream.

Is there a separate children’s menu? +

Yes, it changes every day. Served alongside the adult evening menu from 6.00 pm — freshly prepared, in child-sized portions. No instant mixes, no packets. We eat together — parents and children at the same table.

Are allergies and dietary requirements taken into account? +

Yes. Please let us know when you book, or at the latest upon arrival. We can cater for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free diets, as well as all common allergies. Our kitchen team plans the menu for the whole week.

Are cocktails and wine included in the all-inclusive package? +

No — the bar is not included in the all-inclusive package. Cocktails, wine, spirits and beer are available à la carte at an extra charge. However, all non-alcoholic drinks from the buffet are included: water, juices, soft drinks, coffee and tea.

What room categories are available? +

Four categories: Double room (25 m², 2–4 people), Family room (3–5 people, box-spring bed + children’s room), Junior Suite (65 m², three bedrooms and two bathrooms for 2–6 people), Suite (50 m², two to three bedrooms with a built-in baby bath, for 3–6 people).

How much does it cost per night? +

The flat rate per night for 2 adults + 2 children aged GENUSS All Inclusive starts, during the cheapest season, at €298 in a double room, €310 in a family room, €342 in a suite and €342 in a junior suite. Is Wi-Fi included? +

Yes, Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. You’ll be given the password at check-in.

Are there any parking spaces? +

Yes, there’s free parking right next to the hotel. There’s also space for caravans and motorhomes. An electric charging point is available on request.

What are the cancellation terms? +

Low season: free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival; thereafter 50 per cent, or 90 per cent from 2 days before arrival. Mid-season: free cancellation up to 21 days before arrival; thereafter 50 per cent / 70 per cent, or 90 per cent on the day of arrival. Peak season and school holidays: free cancellation up to 60 days in advance; thereafter 40% or 70%; 90% from 7 days before arrival. Season definitions and details: trebesingerhof.com/cancellation.

What payment options are available? +

A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking, payable by bank transfer or credit card. The balance is payable on arrival or departure — in cash, by card or EC card.

How do I get there? +

By car via the A10 Tauern Motorway, take the Spittal-Mitte exit, then follow the B100 into the Drau Valley towards Lienz; signposted in Trebesing. By train to Spittal an der Drau, then a pick-up service (on request) or a taxi (~20 mins, ~€40).

Wellness & Pool

What do you offer in the spa area? +

Indoor swimming pool (07:00–19:00), outdoor pool (07:00–19:00), sauna area with Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, steam room and infrared cabin. Sauna area for guests aged 16 and over; freely accessible from 15:00–19:00. In the mornings (08:00–15:00), private use can be booked free of charge — via reception.

Is there an adults-only area? +

Yes, the sauna area is for adults only (aged 16 and over). There’s also a quiet lounge with a library and a fireplace corner — a parents’ corner free from the noise of children.

Do you offer massages? +

Yes, traditional massages and spa treatments — these aren’t included in the all-inclusive package, but can be booked à la carte. It’s best to book an appointment on arrival, as places are limited.

Region & Day Trips

What is there to do in the region? +

Over 100 attractions included with the Kärnten Card: mountain railways, boat trips on the Millstätter See, museums, swimming pools, castles. Hiking in the Nockberge Mountains straight from the hotel. Mountain biking, climbing and horse riding in the surrounding area. In winter, ski resorts are just 30 minutes away.

Is the Carinthia Card included? +

Yes, it’s automatically included in all our packages. Over 100 free day-out destinations for the whole family. We’ll simply hand them to you when you arrive.

Where can you go hiking? +

Head straight from the hotel to the alpine pastures around Trebesing. Family walking trails with themed routes in the Nockberge Mountains. More challenging walks up to 3,000 metres on the Mölltal Glacier (40-minute drive). Walking maps available at reception; recommendations from the team.
